Nearly 30 teachers and students from our school went to Shantou to showcase history and culture and visit our sister school. We arrived at ShanTou DaHao Overseas Middle School of GuangDong on the morning of 21 December.

Students from both schools performed and communicated with each other, guessed lantern riddles, wrote calligraphy, made sachets and made dumplings in order to establish friendship between Shantou and Hong Kong.

In the evening, we went to Haojiang Experimental School Affiliated to South China Normal University, Haojiang District, Shantou City, for a sister school cooperation contract signing ceremony and teacher-student exchanges.

In addition to visiting campuses, performing and communicating with each other, students from both places also had dinner and made sweet dumplings to celebrate the winter solstice in advance, hence establishing friendship between students from both places and making "Shantou and Hong Kong as one family".

Teachers and students of our school visited many cultural and historical scenic spots in Shantou, namely the famous Sun Yat-sen Memorial Pavilion Park, Shantou Founding Cultural Exhibition Hall, Chaoshan Historical and Cultural Expo Centre and Shibaotai Park, thus understanding Chaoshan culture and the care of overseas Chinese for the motherland.
