Secondary One Discretionary Places Application

Application forms can be obtained from 1^st December 2023 to 16^th January 2024:

1. in person to our General Office (Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm).
2. download from our school website. 

Application forms (relevant documents attached) can be submitted:

1. in person to our General Office, from 2^nd January 2024 to 16^th January 2024 (before 5:00pm)
2. via Secondary One Discretionary Places e-platform, from 2^nd January 2024 to 16^th January 2024 (before 11:59pm)

Late submission will not be accepted.

Admission Criteria

• Performance at interview (Priority will be given to students who perform better in English during the interview)* 30%
• Academic results (Grade A or B should be attained in English, and in either Chinese or Mathematics) 30%
• Teacher’s comment and conduct (A or B attained) 20%
• Performance in extra-curricular activities 20%

*Applicants are shortlisted for interviews according to applicants’ academic performance (40%), teacher’s comment and conduct (30%), and performance in extra-curricular activities (30%).

Personal Information Collection Statement

1. Purpose of Personal Information Collection: All personal data collected in the application forms of the school will only be used for processing the related application.
2. Provision of Personal Information: The applicant is responsible for providing correct and up-to-date information to the school. In case of any changes to the information in the application forms, the applicant must contact the school as soon as possible.
3. Transferral of Personal Information: The school will not transfer the personal data collected to any third party, unless the individual concerned has given express consent for a change of use of data or such use is permitted by law.
