Po Leung Kuk Awarded the “20th Compassion Award”
2026-02-13
Po Leung Kuk, deeply rooted in Hong Kong for 147 years, has remained steadfast in its founding mission of “protecting the young and caring for the community.” Over the decades, it has grown into a charitable organization offering a wide spectrum of services and is now one of the largest school-sponsoring bodies in the city.
This year, Po Leung Kuk was awarded the 20th Compassion Award by the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Charity Foundation, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to charitable services. Only two organizations in Hong Kong received this honor, and Po Leung Kuk is among the first local charitable groups to be distinguished with this accolade. Mrs. Amanda T.W. HO, JP, Chairman of Po Leung Kuk, extends her heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and judges for their recognition, and to all our partners who have walked alongside us on this journey. Looking ahead, we remain committed to working hand in hand with the community to nurture talent, cultivate virtue, and bring lasting benefits to society.
