The second staff development day was held on 26th March 2025. In the first section, the educational psychologist of Po Leung Kuk, Miss Shirin Omar, gave a talk on "Positive Education". After the talk, teachers learnt more concepts about positive education, related psychological theories and how to develop teachers’ and students’ character strengths.

In the second section, a rehearsal workshop on school crisis management was conducted by the educational psychologist, Miss Tse Ling Ying, and our school social workers, Miss Chan Pui Yan and Miss Yiu Annabelle. The workshop was exceptionally fruitful. After the workshop, teachers learnt more about the basic principles and operational procedures of crisis intervention and further psychological support within the school. It helped to further raise teachers' awareness of the cultivation of students' positive values and attitudes.
