The aims of the Home Economics curriculum are to enable students to:

1.  Allow students to acquire knowledge and develop skills necessary for simple food  preparation and balanced meal planning which foster healthy lifestyle.


2. Enable students to be independent                                                 citizens and wise consumers.

3. Enable students to understand how technology affects our lives and enhances the nurturing of quality people and quality homes.



Provide extra learning materials for students to cater learning diversity

Provide training to students for various cooking competitions

Enhance students’ effectiveness in time management and independent ability
